How can I file for unemployment?

How long do i need to wait till i can file for unemployment?

  • i just got out of the military not to long ago and was wondering when i can file for unemployment, im from Connecticut

  • Answer:

You should be able to apply right away unless there is a different procedure in filing for people that served in the military. Give the state's unemployment office a call. They'll tell you what you need to do or when to file.

you can start filing right away. the bucks may not start flowing right away, but you will be in the system as someone who needs a job, and you might get contacted about employment.
