Is my MSN account being used by someone else?

What if someone used my address to buy with someone else's card? How do I defend myself?

• I asked a question like this already but no one answered. I'm 20 years old and I have an amazon account, a friend asked me to buy something for her (She's a grown mature woman) She doesn't really know much of computers so she handed me her card to add it on to MY amazon account. This was so I could do the shopping for her without her having to create a new account of her own. Well, it's BEEN MONTHS since this... Recently it seems there has been activity she wasn't aware of with her card from amazon, and as I signed in to verify, there has been jewelery that was bought under my name and address but with her card. I am so frightened, I'm a college student and I still live at home with my parents, I've never had any issues with the law so please understand my worry. I am not afraid of something I didn't do but I am afraid since I keep thinking that I will be investigated and I have no way of proving that it wasn't me since my amazon account was used for this. I live in an apartment as well, so it makes it even more difficult to understand how someone can shop under someone elses' identity and have things shipped to such an address. WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ME? The bank already said they will refund the money back to her account, but what about me? It was my information and address used.

  Get a lawyer. It's your password and address so they really aren't going to just believe you.
