I want card to put into my wallet with a picture of me and some information, not a fake a ID! how do I get 1?

Just in case it gets lost and its cool to have a pic of me but I don't want a fake ID. How do I obtain such a card?

You don't have to drive to get a state-issued ID card. It looks just like an driver's license, but it will have something written across the front indicating that it is not a drivers license. Go to the same place that issues drivers licenses in your area and request a state-issued ID card. You will need to bring your birth certificate as proof of identity and possibly one other form of identification such as a school-issued ID.
