Is it possible to cancel a pending transaction?

How to cancel pending transaction on debit card?

• Last night I ordered a pair of shoes & shirt off of Kohls.com. However, I kept getting an error message after I put in my card info. I tried about three times before I gave up. I checked my bank account and there were three pending charges for Kohls even though the order never went through. I called customer service at Kohls, and they told me that they only have one attempted order coming up for me (which they supposedly cancelled), and the charges should be dropped off my account within a few hours. Its been 14 hours and they are still pending! I'm scared the charges will come out of my account and I'll never see that money again. Should I just call the bank and try to get the pending transactions cancelled?

  All you can do is keep calling Kohls'. The bank can't legally reverse the withdrawal in this situation since there is not misconduct on the part of the merchant. Kohls has very poor security for on line purchases. My wife had a similiar problem purchasing linen from Kohl's web site. When she tried to pay using a Credit Card, a malware program redirected the information to a site that tried to grab her credit card information. We shut down her lap top and took it to a repair shop to get the malware off of the computer and stop the information from being sent to the mal ware site. My wife was using Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security as Malware Protection. It identified the Malware, but couldn't remove it from the computer. That is why we had to go to a computer repair store.
