How to get a bank account?

Is there a way too get a New Bank account number over my current one? If so how?

• I am trying to use paypal and google check out but they are declining my bank account number. Is there any way to get a new bank account and routing number? what do I have to do with my bank in order to do this? I dont want to open up another bank account because I dont need another one.

  I'd suggest finding out why your number isn't accepted. Have you had prior problems with this account? You can close your present account and open a new one at the same bank. The routing number will be the same but the account number will change. Of course, if it is a checking account, you'll need to order new checks.
