• 1) Does internet banking take longer than going into a bank branch and depositing money into someones account? 2) For example if i was depositing into someones account and their bank was named ' Mary ' but my bank was called ' John' would the deposit go through to the persons account faster if i was to use my bank ( John ) or would it be faster if i use the same financial institution their account belonged too (Mary )? Sorry if this is confusing buts it's late and i didn't know how else to word it. I appreciate your help.

  The normal time for Internet bank transfer from Mary to John, would be 3 working days. The fastest way is to deposit cash into the Mary account, that would reflect immediately.
