What would happen if someone hacks your account?

Someone transferred money to my paypal account, what wpuld happen if i didnt send them the item?

  • Recently I've recieved a request to buy my YouTube channel, I said I want the 50$ first so I gave them my paypal email. I thought they were just a bot so i gave them the paypal info. I checked my paypal and it has 50$ on it ! But I don't wanna give away my account but I do need the 50$. Is there a way that I can....keep both without getting them the account? You can't even buy/sell YouTube accounts.

    You'd better either refund that person's money or give them the account or you going to encounter a whole bunch of legal issues

If they report fraud to paypal, you will then have to prove that you delivered the product (Tracking number, signed delivery receipt, etc). Otherwise paypal will refund the money for them out of your account. If you get alot of fraud complaints, paypal can also terminate your account, and you would then have zero chance of ever opening an account with them again.

That's stealing. Not only is it morally wrong, it's also illegal. Either give them the account or refund the money and appologize for changing your mind. They can report you and you can be charged
