How can a child make money?

How can a child under 14 years old make more money?

  • Okay, so, I just posted a similar question like 5 minutes ago but it got reported for no reason, so I will keep this one simple: my friend and I make a newspaper once a month with services that we provide. They are simple services like dog walking. We haven't made a dollar and it's been, like, 6 months. How can we attract more peoples' attention? We are under 14 so we can't get a job, so don't say anything about getting a job, please.

  • Answer:

Under 14 you can get a job. Babysitting (normally just for family/friends under 14 though), dog walking, news paper route, shoveling, raking, mowing lawns, etc. Get a news paper route or 2 each. That'll give you some money. Then for some extra money you can use some money you made from the newspaper route and put an ad in the classifieds for dog walking and such. ***edit*** quit making the paper. put ads in the classified section of an actual paper or put up a sign. Many places (grocery stores, libraries, etc) have a board for people to put up classifieds. by making and leaving papers at peoples homes, you're just going to annoy the hell out of them.

Try better advertising if you know people with dogs ask them if you can walk their dog and ask them to tell a friend or even go to a dog park and talk to the dog owners personally. I can't think of anything else you could do.

Put it in high traffic areas but be careful there's freaky people out and about.
