Is the NatWest Adapt Account any good?

Does NatWest charge for an Adapt Account (11 to 18 yr old)?

  • I've applied for an account on the Natwest website and it's called NatWest Adapt Account, it's for 11 to 18 year olds (I'm 17) I'm just wondering will the bank charge me for having this account? I've heard mixed things about it, all I want is just an account so I can put money in it (I have a job). Since I registered online they sent me some papers to my address to be signed, I then can either post it or take it to the bank itself, if I take it to the bank itself do I get my account details (card no. account no.) immediately? Because I need it the next day as I'm starting my job and they will need my bank details. (I sort of put 2 questions in this, please forgive me :P) I appreciate any answers! Thanks in advance! :)

  • Answer:

It's free if you don't go overdrawn. You won't get the details immediately, but your new employer won't need them just yet - you haven't earned anything!
