Unpaid Debts Left in Ireland?
-
I left Ireland with a credit card and a personal loan debt 2 years ago to move to Australia. I was unable to pay these debts and as time went on stuck my head in the sand and ignored them. I now have to return to Ireland and am terrified I will be apprehended at the airport. I will make every effort to pay them when I get home but will I be prosecuted when I contact the bank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Answer:
NO, the principle on your loan will be astronomical more than what your originally received initially because of the compound interest incurred.
