My job pays cash & i want a job with a paycheck but don't want to take a pay cut. what is equivalent to $7hr?

i get paid $7hr cash at my current job, off the books/under the table. i want to find another job that pays properly with a paycheck. I would like to know what amount would equal $7hr take home pay, after taxes. also what would equal $8hr take home pay. I am single living in Michigan.

You're going to have a hard time with that taxes are different if you live in one city and work in another you'll pay city taxes where you work and owe at the end of the year whew you live. I make 9 an hour and after all the taxes average about 7 an hour. You more than likely won't start at that unless you work at a factory

Your pay about 50 per pay check but get on payroll so you can file taxes and get paid at the end as you should know your employer is getting over they pocketing more money because they pay you cash thats illegal unless they allow you to file self-employed but everybody pays taxes businesses too small or large
