Do you really get paid when you do surveys online? If so, what website should I go to?

I'm trying to earn some extra money. As a student who already works full time, I'm curious if you really get paid to do surveys online....or even the data entry advertisements? If you know anything, please fill me in!!! Thanks

I don't trust those things. I've been tempted, but I don't want to get viruses, spyware, or give out my information when I'm not sure what they're going to do with it. I think you'll need to do a little bit of research before you try any.

Nobody gives out a free lunch. Why would anybody pay you good money to fill out an easy survey? Sorry but nothing in life, worth having, comes easy.

It is all a scam. You are better off buying and selling things off of ebay. I know people who go to yard sales pay pennys for hidden treasures and make a killing selling something they bought for a buck.. Atleast that is guarenteed.....

Hi, I found a site called SideMoney.org which has a few of the more legitimate sites listed on its page along with a bit of a tiny review for each as well. Since I started about 8 months ago, I've earned enough to pay for most of my baby expenses which was a huge relief! I wouldn't say doing this can replace your dayjob, but if you need an extra $100 here and there, I say go for it. I find them pretty fun sometimes especially if there is a sample to try out

It's not worth the time and effort. Most of the time you have to pay to get free stuff. They just don't tell you that until you've reached that stage.

I am also a student who works full time, and I was curious about those too. I learned from a friend what were some good websites for taking surveys online that really worked. So far I have signed up for two different websites that have been completely legitimate. The only thing is, you'll sign up for these survey sites that ARE legitimate, but are being funded by all these different gimmicks, so once you sign up for them, you have to be really careful, and make sure you ALWAYS read the fine print. That will really save you. The two that I have signed up for are: --Inbox Dollars --MySurvey One thing you'll need to keep in mind is that if you're going to do these, and you actually want something out of it, you have to be really patient and dedicate yourself to them. You'll most likely be given an initial amount at which you can request the money that you've earned for doing the surveys. For example, with Inbox Dollars (my personal favorite online survey) you get paid e-mails, and each time you read an e-mail you get 2 cents. Not a lot at all, but... you get a lot of them. Each survey on Inbox Dollars is 50 cents. You can request payment when you get to thirty dollars. I signed up for Inbox Dollars in May and It's almost July and I'm only at 15 dollars. Granted I don't do them all the time, but it is definitely something that will not come fast. That's why it's so easy. You have to invest a lot of time, for money. Hope this helps. Good luck! P.S.-- The people on here that are complaining about it being a scam and such are the people who didn't look hard enough for good-hearted legitimate ones. They do exist, because in all honesty-- you're giving them opinions and answers based on what you know so they can use them for statistics and making products better and such. My friend just received a free box of pop-tarts in the mail, they want you to eat them and then say what you do and don't like about them. Free food, and money for telling them how you feel? It doesn't get any better. Just be cautious.

Actually, those websites that give you free ipods and stuff work, but you have to invite people, and it's hard to invite people because everyone thinks it's a scam so no one wants to join. But yeah, they work. For surveys, utalkback or something gives you points for surveys you complete and then you can redeem those points for gift cards to like starbucks and american eagle. but you need like A LOT of points for gift cards. and you get very little for each survey.

If you want to make money doing surveys you can try cash crate If you really want to make money from the internet build your own adsense website to really pull in money that will not stop paying.
