What are some ways I can make a little money?

What ways can my cousin make money for a CD?

  • My cousin, Sanabelle (10 yrs. of age) is back today, babysitting AGAIN for my Aunt Leila (arrgh!) anyway, she needs ways to make money for a CD (she won't tell me what CD she wants, but she said it'd be around 12 dollars)My Aunt Leila won't buy it for her (cheep!) & my mom and I won't, so she needs to make it herself! She won't do a lemonade stand and won't do chores for money even, so we're kind of out of luck here with suggestions.... Do you have any?

    Well I'm glad you won't buy it for her. Cuz she's just being sill, not wanting to do chores. I really liked the idea with the cans. It would take her some time to gather them and take them to the recycle place, but she can go around and ask the neighbors for them too. I'm sure they'd be happy to donate. If the problem w/ the chores is she doesn't want to do the chores for her parents (I had that problem I would do the chores for money and then they dictated how I spent the money what good was that?) She can offer her services to the neighbors. She can make little flyers and hand them out. With things like taking out the trash or mowing the lawn things like that. I kinda wish one of the kids around here would do that. I would so love to pay some one a few bucks to take out my trash and mop my floor or something. I would even pay a 10 year old to take my kid outside and entertain him while I was in the house cleaning. Just so that I'm not spending my time watching him from the window.

if you have a bottle deposit in your state, she can collect cans and bottles and then return them to the store for the deposit money. She can search around her room and house for loose coins she can save up money from gifts. or, like the rest of us, she can WORK to earn the money...chores, babysitting, etc. If she doesn't like those options, then she'll have to wait. Having to earn her money is a good lesson for her to learn.

If she really wants the CD she'll do some chores.... My daughter though, who is 11 will give me and her dad a foot or back massage, If we pay her for it. She's really good, and even gets her aunts and uncles to pay her for walking on their back. Maybe, she will do something like that.
