How do i check the balance of my debit card?

  • I got a rebate card from verizon wireless, because i bough a phone from the store and they gave me a 50 dollar rebate debit card. The bank is from Citi, and it says Visa on it. Where can i go to check my balance? and if i buy something with my debit card on ebay (i linked it to paypal) will it affect my other credit cards on it?

    As a matter of fact I got a rebate card for my phone too today $50. Flip the card and on the back it says "For balance dial #VZWR from your Verizon Wireless phone. Another option is to text "BAL" to 8997 The last option would be to dial the number on the back which is 1-877-899-8980 and press option "1" then it's going to ask you for the number on the card and it will tell you the balance. You started with fifty bucks. Keep track of what you spend. Possibly there is a phone number or website on the card, but it's really your responsibility to just subtract all your purchases from the original fifty dollars. When you have, maybe a dollar left, you can still use it, and just pay cash or whatever if you go over the dollar.

There should be a number on the card to call for your balance. As far as using it for ebay... When you go to the payment screen on paypal it will ask how you are funding the purchase, just change your normal payment method to the Verizon card.
