Unemployment Question: Moving from California to Nevada?

• We are not having any luck getting employment in California, so we are moving to Nevada (where the housing is less expensive). I am currently receiving unemployment in California. I worked for 5 years in California and lost my job in May 2010 due to layoffs with Boeing. If I move to Nevada, do I apply for unemployment in Nevada ? Do I just send a change of address to California ? I am using the unemployment to support my Mom, my kids, my husband (injured), and my pets. I want to make sure I do the right thing. Any help is appreciated. Peace.

  You've worked in California, not Nevada, so file for Cali unemployment. Good luck, but would suggest having job opportunities in Nevada before you go. Looking for work in an area that you are not familiar is really tough and could backfire really easily....
