Does Scottrade have any hidden fees?

Please tell me what it is like to transfer from Scottrade to Think or Swim?

• I am thinking of transferring simply because TOS offers OTO orders and scottrade doesn't. But there is so much complex information involved and I can't understand it. So many of the fees and time lines for transferring seem to be hidden or hard to notice. I don't want to run up a large bill. I have only 4 stocks in my scottrade account. How long would it take and how much would it cost. One stock is a penny OTCBB stock, so would TOS accept it or not? Also, what is the transfer process like?

  if that is your reason then you are making a HUGE mistake. I was on TOS and left them when they had no clue what an ETF was and screwed up one of my orders in the process. It takes roughly 15-30 days to transferr securities and a lot less to just simple cash out and start over. I do not recommend TOS and I certainly do NOT recommend investing in penny garbage. Take that money you put on penny garbage and take it to Vegas you will have better odds.
