Is amgen at the lowest stock price right now (it closed at 51.90 today). What price is a good buy.?

No stock is at its lowest price yet and probably won't be for another 2 weeks. This liquidity crisis is still not played out. What you can do is start building a position. Figure out how many shares you want to buy and buy just a portion of it now. When the stock goes down again, buy a few more. If the stock continues to decline, buy more on each decline until you have the number of shares that you want. It is almost impossible to figure out when a stock is at it's bottom. I don't know if you watch Mad Money on CNBC with Jim Cramer, but he went over this on Friday's show.

it depends on the earnings and royalites, pipeline terms(sole ownership on specific medication in a time frame before other manufecturers makes generic version of thier competitor's medication. also Watch out for 2008 campaigns, each candidate might down play Pharma"s stocks under the subject of updating medicare act-reform
