How can I buy/sell shares?

Are there any UK share dealing companies that allow trade of JPY / nikkei shares (specifically SONY)?

  • I exited a corporate share scheme, and because the current share price is low, I want to hold on to my shares for now, but didn't realise how difficult that would be. The Issue is they are in JPY, and many share accounts don't allow those shares. I know very little about shares, so just need an account with low annual charge, and low transaction charge for when I do sell, that allows me to hold on to them until the price increases. The current corporate broker has said I should mention the following: The Shares are listed on the Tokyo stock exchange The shares are basic ordinary shares The shares are in dematerialised form which companies in the UK can I as an individual, create an account with and transfer these shares into? also I believe as there are less than 100 shares, i'lI need to find a company that will also allow sale of part lots.

  • Answer:

Any UK broker will deal in Japanese shares. Your problem may be size. Not many brokers will set up an account just to do this (cost of compliance)

Stock trading used to be the domain of large companies and persons with high net worth, then this has been taking place changing with the summary of cheaper broker fees and additional information of the stock market. Share market value is not constant. It may decrease also if you will wait. For detail information, visit the following link. http://www.martinworldwide.net/
