With the economy in recession, and interest rates falling, is it a good time to invest in US security bonds?
-
I hear that this may be a good way to secure some of my money until the rough times are over, but I don't know enough about these bonds to make a final decision. How different are they from the regular certificates of deposit and can I get higher rates security bonds than CDs at the moment?
-
Answer:
I wouldn't go with CD's right now. Bonds are your best bet when the economy is on the down turn. I would contact a financial company to assist you in making the best short term decision with your money. Goodluck!
