Buy gold in one country but sell in another?

i want to buy gold from saudi and then when i go to malaysia, i wanna sell it there. is it possible to do so? or i need to purchase from bank in saudi that also have in malaysia? is there any particular type of gold that i should buy for me to be able to sell in other country?

I do not think that this is a very good strategy. Then you would be adding the currency exchange risk to the risk already volatile gold price, which is a commodity. Also, banks do not operate for free and you pay a commission on the exchange of one currency to another. Gold is one of the very few commodities which sells for pretty much at the same rate (in local currency) on the same date as it is traded either in London or in New York. There is nothing to be gained buying it in one place and selling it in another country.
