Where can I find historic fundamental stock data for the US stock market since inception till date?

I want to find, for free, or at a reasonable price, a database of historic fundamental stock data for the NYSE and Nasdaq from inception till date. Where can I get this information? I am willing to get raw financial statement data and calculate whatever I need from it. The key is that the data should be SQL queriable.

Dr. Daniel is right. You're going to have a hard time finding that information. I know that Standard and Poor's has a database but I'm pretty sure it is expensive ($100,000 + per year). JLP
