How do i calculate preferred dividend?

What do i calculate my dividend investment, please help?

  • heres the deal, my mutual fund has a dividend of 0.1300 and on april 3rd of 2008 i had 379.1470 shares of this fund, on may 9th of 2008 they gave me 10.2230 shares with a total value of $82.30 due to the dividend, i get devidends twice a year, now for the dividends per share amount it shows $0.015000 and it shows a reinvest amount of $10.57, my question is this..taking all these numbers what do i calculate and how to come up with 10.2230 shares?
