How to find value of old stock certificates?
-
I have some old stock certificates for companies that no longer exist. How can I find if they were bought by other companies, and thus still have value?
-
Answer:
If the company is no longer in business, filed for bankruptcy, odds are the certificates are worthless. I have addressed this question numerous times and have written details on what to do here: Lost Stock Certificate? Inherited Stock?
