What is the execution order in angularJS?

Filling a stock order execution?

  • I have about 3,000 shares of a blue chip stock. My questions is about filling a stock order before execution. I use Sharebuilder and ETrade. If I sell my 3,000 shares, the order will execute once a buyer decides to buy the shares I am selling. But, if I sell 3,000 shares all at once, will I still need to wait for someone to buy exactly 3,000 or can the broker gather several buy orders to fill my sell order? Is it reasonable to sell this many shares at limit or market price and why?

  • Answer:

unless you demand that the order be filled all or none, it can be filled in whole or in part in any manner whatsoever. a 3k order for a blue chip would probably fill in one trade in any case, however. your commission becomes part of the first part filled. A market sell order can not be all-or-none. if you are truly serious about making sure you pay only one commission, use a limit all-or-none sell order.
