    The first thing you need to establish is whether or not *anybody* would even want your product in the first place. In other words, you need to identify what group of people is most likely to buy your product. Then, you need to start targeting your sales/marketing efforts towards that group. Make sure your marketing campaign indicates how your product can benefit the audience. You can also play around with the price to encourage sales...If sales are slow, reduce the price; drastically, if need be; at a loss if need be. Remember, if you have to sell it at a loss at first, do so until your sales volume is enough that you can increase price to break even or make a profit. Way to sell your product: Door-to-door using commission-only salesmen Contract with big store chains to allow your product on their retail shelves Engage in TV and/or print advertising of which your target demographic is a part of the audience of said media Good luck!

If that is your sales pitch, you are doomed before you begin. To start with, I think you are asking the wrong question. What would make your product something people would want to buy? Why should people take an interest in your product? What makes your product different from others out there? You question makes it sound like you are admitting defeat. If you really feel that way, it's time to go out and find a new product. It is impossible to convince someone to take an interest in a product that you don't even believe in yourself.
