What college degree should I take for a career as a hedge fund broker or hedge fund manager?

I was thinking either finance or economics. Also, I would like to know if a job as a stock broker prepare me for a hedge fund career? Can anyone help?

Answer:
Finance, economics, math or statistics would be good choices. I doubt being a stock broker would benefit you working for a hedge fund. Being a stock broker is about sales and you dont need a degree for it.
