How can medical insurance rates go down?

If there is no damage to either cars then how much would insurance rates go up for the person who caused it?

  • i was in a accident today and this hood girl came out of nowhere but the only damage that occured was the front tag of my car came off and her car has no damage. How much will my insurance rates go up.

It will vary from state to state. In California an at fault accident with damage under $750 does not count against the rate unless there are 3 incidents or more. If you are determined to be not at fault in an accident then your rates do not go up. If the only damage you sustained was that your license plate fell off, put it back on and call it a day. You got off lucky.

None, because when there is no damage to anything, and no injury to anyone, everyone usually agrees to keep the accident a secret from the insurance companies. Just take car of replacing the front tag of your car.

your insurance company will sometimes call and ask you about a $0.00 claim as it would appear on there reports. A simple explanation will usually make them write it off. however they do still take into account these zero dollar claims when writing new business or if your are already shown to be an at risk driver.

If you don't report it to the insurance company your rates will not go up. How else would they know if you had an accident?
