What is a basic policy statement?

Consolidated Premium paid statement of LIC policy doesn't show the initial amount paid when buying policy?

  • Hi all.. I bought an LIC policy in april 2010. (payable: quarterly) I paid my premium the same day on 4th april at the office counter. Then, I paid next premium in july at the counter (offline) In October, I paid the premium online in lic website. But, the consolidated premium paid statement in my LIC account shows only that 2 times I have paid the premium (in july and october) The amount paid while taking the policy is not considered as a premium ???? Anyone pls explain whether it is correct or not?

  • Answer:

    the binder is considered a premium and it should show up on your annual statement next april. in the meantime you can contact customer service to confirm they have applied all premiums correctly.

You will have to call them and ask. It could be it was credited to the wrong account.
