What is the very best way to get into the insurance business?

Do I need to have a degree in Business or anything to get a simple job at a insurance company/office job?

• Everyone tells me I am the fastest and most efficient typist (typer, either way) they know. I rarely EVER make typo's and it's just a certain skill of mine. My question is where would this come in useful for a job? I'm 19 and entry level so to say I have a High School Diploma but am willing to try and get a business or any type of degree that will help me. Problem: I am terrible with math I know basic math and times tables and division but once algebra is involved I just can't get it. Good with English and excellent at writing (top of my class in high school) I currently work in Rug Maintenance for a retail furnishing company. In other words I hang rugs,unwrap them,tag and price them,clip them then hang them up for sale. I hate my job it's minimum wage and I'm only looking for hours that are like 6AM-2PM I know most office jobs will be like 9-5 but can I simply then ask for part time hours (all I need right now) what jobs would work for me? My dad mentioned insurance companies?

  no you dont need a degree at all. start from the bottom and work your way up. and later on when you have worked for a while and you can afford it, then go for your degrees.
