What does this notice mean "SNI: extension not received from the client", in stunnel log?

I received a notice of unemployment insurance award, but I do not know why?

  • I have been unemployed for over a year and I am currently receiving benefits through an extension to my original claim. A few days ago I received a letter stating that my claim is invalid but that it wouldn't affect my current claim for extended benefits. Today I received a new claim award notice, which shows a much lower weekly benefit amount than my extension grants me. My current extension still has a few weeks of benefits left, so why did I get the new letter?

  • Answer:

You're going to have to call them and ask. Clearly, your benefit amount is running out, which is why the weekly benefit amount has gone down.

By law, you can only use an extension when the extension is the only way for you to receive benefits. If you become eligible for a new claim award, then you must get the new claim award and use up all the benefits from the new claim before you can get anymore benefits from the extension.
