I often get my payslip a couple of days before payday. It should inform you on the payslip the day you are due to be paid. Just because you have the payslip does not necessarily mean the money should be in your account.

No. The payslip just tells you what WILL be paid and gives a breakdown of Tax, NI etc. I got mine today but the money is due to go in on Monday.
