How much does a certified medical insurance biller earn an hour?
-
i'm taking my last class at a college for a certificate in medical insurance billing, i'm not going for a degree but hope to find a job as a medical biller when i get my certificate. where should i apply for work?

Answer:
I am not a medical biller, but my thought would be try the HR departments at a hospital or speak to local independent doctors offices. I am not sure on pay, and it would depend on the need for medical billers in your area, but I would guess anywhere between $12-20 per hour. The pay would probably depend mostly on experience. Keep in mind that I am not in this profession nor do I know much about it. Perhaps your teacher or administrator of this program will know the answers to your questions. Good luck and congratulations on completing this program!
