How good is it working for AFLAC?

Working for Aflac or United American?

• I know both of these companies are very different, and advertise in two totally different markets. Which is the better company to work for any why? Any experience?

  Both companies are commission sales and they both provide training and support for the sales force. 95% wash out of both companies before their first year. Aflac has legitimate policies, although disability is a very difficult field to sell. Most sales are through groups. United American has hospital certificates, not major medical, and the plans don't stack up to regular insurance plans. Most sales are to individuals, it's hard to sell this type of policy to anyone who has done their homework and know what they are getting.
