My dad had Aflac ins they issued a check made to his estate how do i cash it i have no bank acc.Please help.?

It can only be cashed by whoever is the executor of his will or the administrator of his estate. If you are his only relative and have not yet had his estate probated, call your local clerk of courts and find out what forms you need to fill out and what your other responsibilities will be.

It doesn't belong to you. It belongs to his estate. You can't cash it!

YOU cannot cash it. It's not your check. It's for dad, who's obviously passed. The executor or administrator of his estate would get the check. It goes, to pay off all his debts first, THEN, is considered part of his estate, which would then get distributed to his heirs.

You will need to go open an account or deposit it into a trust fund (estate) if that is what is set up and draw the money out of there. If you are listed as an officer on the estate and can prove that you are you might get the bank to cash it where your father banks for you. If you just want the cash you will need to open an account with a bank.

You don't unless you can cash it at the bank it was written on. Good luck with that.

You need the executor of his estate to sign & cash it. If he has passed, there should be some type of bank account established for him by someone else, or control of his account should be assigned to someone else. If neither of those is the case, and the money belongs to you, you'd have to prove it to Aflac & see if they could reissue the check to you. Then you could cash it at a check-cashing institution, like Money Tree.
