Is Essential Insurance a legit Insurance Company?

IS ENCORE DENTAL INSURANCE A GOOD INSURANCE? IS THE COMPANY LEGIT?

  • I heard of this company on the tv and read about it on their website; however before I proceed I want to now where to look to verify that it is a good, legitimate insurance company. Where do I go to check this out?

    They aren't listed with AM Best, so they aren't an insurance COMPANY. That means, either they're selling someone else's insurance POLICY, or they're selling you something that's NOT insurance - most likely a discount plan. You check them out, on YOUR state insurance department website - it will post the insurance companies licensed to sell policies in your state. Encore isn't on the list.
