Is Aim insurance company legit?

  • Had difficulty getting health insurance because of my "build". I came across Aim insurance company was my first time hearing about it, but want to know more before I signed up.

    I just checked AM Best, there is no AIM insurance company in the USA. So, my guess this isn't insurance. It's probably trying to sell you a list.

blue cross of ca has a program called AIM - access for infants and mothers. its is legit, but it is for pregnant and underinsured women only. it is a state funded program that covers the mother from enrollment up to 60 days after delivery. is this what you are talking about? if not, my aflac rep told me about an insurance called Assurant - he said it wasnt fantastic, but had no restrictions regarding "build" (my hubby is a big guy)
