How long does it take to get an impairment rating?
-
I live in tn and was released by my dr one month ago with all restrictions still in place. I have been waiting on him to give me an impairment rating ever since I was released from his care at the end of last month. My question is how much longer should it take it dosent sound like something that should take very long

Answer:
Well, it's all up to the doctor. Typically, it takes anywhere from 3 to 10 weeks for the doctor to "get around" to the paperwork. It's a PITB, I know, but it can be hard to rush doctors. The actual paperwork should take him maybe 15 minutes to a half hour.
