If you try to do this yourself you will fall flat on your face - you need legal advice - endownment claims are complex - there are lots of companies dealing with endownment shortfalls - look on the net and one in particular advertises on TV.

if you feel that information regarding any insurance policy was misrepresented to you so that you would purchase it, then contact you insurance commissioner and make a claim... they will tell you how to proceed. there is something called errors and ommissions, this can be claimed against any insurance agent. see if you have an e and o claim. call on insurance commissioner, they are elected and are advocates for the public.
