I'm not sure what the average time span is for the insurance company to pay the policyholder for losses. The regulation is that the insurance company pays out losses within 60 days of receiving proof of loss. However, I've had a loss before and if you are efficient in providing the necessary information, you will get your loss proceeds much quicker. Ron, ChFC

I am truly sorry for your loss.. Just so you will be aware that animals are not included in the claim even as sad as that is.. A claim being paid out depends on if there is an investigation going on(arson) It also depends on the company that you have... You should have an adjuster you can call..
