WalMart Money Card Problem Please Help!?

• I just bought a Walmart money card. After brining it home I tried to activate it at walmartmoneycard.com. Like the cashier said to do. Everything seemingly went smooth. After I was done it asked me if I would like the $3.00 I paid for the card refunded. I said "sure why not?" Right rafter, when I tried to buy something online. I was told that the card was denied. I tried to log into my account at walmartmoneycard.com several times to see what's going on. But all I get is "Your card has not been activated. Please contact our customer support department at 1-877-937-4098." I called the number. Gave my card number. And constantly get something along the lines of this: "Your will receive your refund in 7 to 10 business day. Thank you and goodbye!" It then hangs up. I called the walmart customer support and told them my dilemma. They said to return to the walmat I bought it from and replace the card. So I went to walmart and told them what's going on. Story short: I can't replace the card. And when I excepted the $3.00 refund. I somehow requested a full refund instead. The best part is, when I thought I might be able to get it to work. The Customer support hotline closes. I put $270.00 on the card. And now I have to wait almost 2 weeks to get it back. I really don't know what happened. I'm going to try and call a few numbers tomorrow and see if I can get someone to help. If anyone knows what exactly happened. And why? Please, please, let me know. Thank you.

  That happened to me too, it was because the company who distributes those cards, I think its like GreenDot or something, my name and address didnt match what was on my driver's license...tried to make me fax in my SS card and stuff to verify the name I registered the Walmart card to...if your just going to use a card to buy something online once, I'd suggest getting a VISA or MasterCard debit gift card...quick registration, and they dont check your info and stuff like Walmart and GreenDot do.
