How can I buy something from ebay without a credit card?

  • I don't own a credit card and I want to buy something. My parents refuse to let me use ebay after my last purchase went bad. They don't believe that it's legit but it actually is and I really want to buy it. I have the money but just don't have access to a credit card. What can I do?

You can use PayPal without a credit card. You just need to add funds to your account before you buy something and you can do this with a simple bank transfer or direct debit. Alternatively you can arrange for PayPal to debit your bank account, although this can take 7-10 days or you can pay with a cheque. Depending on the sellers requirements.

If you are under 18 (which I believe you are), you can't even be on eBay. If you are actually 18, you still can't buy without a valid working Paypal account--and that requires you link in a real credit card or your bank account. You cannot use prepaid cards with Paypal.

are you registered on paypal? contact the seller of item and see if they'll accept a postal money order. if so, get the total amount including tax n shipping, address to mail to seller, go to p.o. purchase m.o. and keep copy n receipts before you mail off in case it doesn't arrive so you can get refund from p.o.
