How do i set up my bank account with paypal?
-
i know it sounds silly but i was just wondering how i set up my bank account to paypal so that money i receive by paypal goes straight into my bank account? do i have to let them take out 2 small deposits and then type them in to prove who i am? that's what it said but i did that the first time and it never worked but i am trying it again, i just wasn't sure if that's what i have to do or not.

Answer:
Account verification usually means 2 small deposits are made into your account. Sometimes, the same 2 small amounts are immediately withdrawn. It's been so long since I verified my PayPal bank accounts that I don't remember if they were just deposits and not withdrawals. Many brokerage "checking" accounts only allow withdrawals, and not deposits, so make sure that your account uses the same routing and account numbers for both deposits and withdrawals.
