How do I use pay-pal for eBay?

How come i can not use my paypal accout to list a item on ebay.?

  • i have $5 in my paypal account and i have added bank account and credit card details, how come i still cant list my item? i get up to the last stage where it says 'list a payment method' but when i try to log onto paypal it says 'Unable to use this PayPal account to set up monthly payments for your selling fees. Please try another PayPal account' i need help!?!?!

    Are you trying to list your item and accept payment through Paypal? If so, have you modified your preferences? See this link below. You should be able to pay for your selling fees with Paypal. I have attached a couple of help screens with the steps to set up your account. When you add bank accounts to Paypal, they go through a verification process that takes about 3 business days. Have you done that yet? Also, what type account do you have..Personal, Premier or Business? There are limits to Personal accounts for receiving money, especially by credit/debit cards. You may need to upgrade to a Premier. I have a Premier account and haven't had any problems listing or selling on eBay. Hope this helps, if not let me know and I will see if I can help.
