What is the difference between a PS Bank ATM Savings card and a PS Bank Prepaid Debit MasterCard?

  • I got an ATM savings account with PS Bank but don't know what is the difference of my card to the prepaid debit card... as to whether the benefits are just the same or not... what are the benefits by the way?

I don't know who PS Bank is but from what I understand, when you withdraw using your savings card, you're withdrawing funds from your savings account. A prepaid debit card is exactly that. You put a prepaid amount onto the card and you can only use whatever is on the card. The advantage of this is you cannot spend more than what's on the card. I believe some families may use these to give their children an allowance which they cannot overspend on or as a way to control spending.

atm cards only take cash from ATM's prepaid is where you give a party your money and they screw you with fees so that you can shop in stores that accept visa/mastercard
