Can natwest charge a 17 year old on a adapt account?

im 17, and pay direct debits in my account. the direct debit came out few days ago and i got paid today. stupidly i forgot about this and didnt put cash or borrow money for time being until i got an email today from the cinema company saying my direct debit bounced. Can natwest give me a bank charge? surely not as i also cannot go over drawn.

They can - read the terms you signed up to when you opened the account. Your age won't help you here, I'm afraid.

Yes they can - as you do not have an agreed overdraft they can charge you as soon as you go overdrawn. Not having an agreed overdraft does not mean you cannot go overdrawn.
