Can a prepaid visa be used with paypal?

Can you change the name you used to register a visa prepaid card online?

I bought a visa prepaid card and tried to make an online purchase with it but it said you had to register the card online first. So I registered the card and filled out all the info but then I tried using the card to make a purchase for something on another website. Now on this website I'm registered under a different name so it wouldn't work. I could create another account on this website but it actually kinda takes a long time. I tried to go online and change the name I used to register the card online but I didn't really see any ways to change it. Does anybody know if this possible, to change the name of a prepaid card that it was registered under online? Thanks!

you could call the prepaid card/gift card company it should still work *if the address is the same*
