Does T-Mobile charge a late payment fee?

Late charge fee using online payment?

  • For the first time I paid my homeowner's association fee using their own website. I received confirmation from the website and also my bank about the charge to my account within minutes. 4 days after, I was charged with late fees because paying online is not a real-time payment. The way it is working, is that after the deduction from my account, my bank will cut a check for my homeowner association, mail to them, they will deposit it into their back account and then my account will be credited, and that can take sometimes 10 working days. I should say that there is nothing mentioned on the homeowner's website about the possible delay. My question is do they have the right to charge me late fee? Thanks, Sam

  • Answer:

of course they can charge you. Everyone knows anything has known for years that your accounts payable are only credited when the creditor receives the money. The homeowners did not receive on time you are late

My water bill is also that way. Never have I read anywhere that they were supposed to inform me that they do not accept online payments. Guess its legal for them not to inform you. It usually takes about 5 working days for them to get my payment.
