Can a prepaid Visa be used for online subscriptions.?

  • I don't just mean buying things online i mean using the visa for a year long subscription to a website (in other words can i use a prepaid visa exactly like a regular visa online).

It depends on the companies credit card processor. I work for a company which does not accept pre-paid credit cards. Our credit card processor, to help combat fraud, uses name and address verification. On pre-paid cards, there is no name or address to verify.
