I have trouble confirming my debit card to paypal?

I already linked my debit card to my paypal account. Here's what it said what I need to do to confirm :"Check your card statement and find the 4-digit PayPal code for the charge you authorized. Enter the code below". Could anyone tell me what card statement is ? I don't know where to find it. I entered the wrong code twice so now I only have one more chance to type in the correct code.

It's your bank statement. Go to the bank and ask them to print you out a statement.
