Do they check your credit on an Secured Credit Card before i get it?

• ok i want this Secured credit card it sayes just pay $49 and i will get it once i pay the $49 will they check my credit before they even send the card? or will they send the card than if i don't pay the credit card bills will than they check my credit score because I'm 19 and really have no credit score so can i get this card and use it with no credit score?

Go to a bank or credit union, consent to leave $1,000* on deposit with them (usually in a CD - certificate of deposit) and you will get a secured {by your money in your CD} credit card with a limit of (say) $900 - of which $300 - $400 is usable, without hurting your credit score due to overextending yourself. * it can be less, but then you don't have much of a credit card. If you look around, you can do this for NO set up fee, and no annual fee.
